The Rathlin Street Project in Govan has been extremely difficult as it’s complicated design with numerous material interfaces has led to issues with interrupted works throughout the construction phase, which were further aggravated by continued design changes and the need to work with Timber Frame during some very Inclement weather, and your supervision and resource on site have been some of the best I have worked with.
Your let’s fix it and argue later attitude has been without doubt a huge influence on the project as on many occasions, we were building sections as revised details came through. On occasions, your joiners would come and tell us that something could or should not be built as detailed because their experience tells them it would not work, it is excellent that the operatives would not simply carry on with the ‘that’s how it’s drawn so we just did it’ attitude.
I cannot fault your company’s attendance to ourselves and would have no hesitation in recommending Montgomerie Joinery to any other contractor, and look forward to working with yourselves again in the very near future.
